Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I'm especially proud of was a track for an artist named KIKS. I handled the full mixing and mastering - taking their raw vocals and instrumental and shaping them into a polished, release-ready record. I'm proud of it because we landed on a sound that really matched their vision, and the final result held up well against commercial references in the genre.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I recently wrapped up a second track for the artist KIKS, on top of an earlier one we finished together. Always looking for the next project - currently open for new clients
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Clients most often ask how many revisions are included - I offer 2 free rounds per song, so we keep refining until the mix feels right.

A: Digital - it lets me work efficiently and remotely with artists anywhere, without sacrificing sound quality when using quality plugins and processing.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing is just pressing a few buttons - in reality every song needs a custom approach based on the vocal, arrangement, and genre.

A: What's the deadline, do you have a reference track for the sound you're going for, and is this for release or just for feedback?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send clearly labeled, unprocessed stems and a reference track if you have one - it saves time and gets you a better result faster.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Generator, PC, SSL2, Sony MDR 7506 and Starlink
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: It actually started as a joke - freestyling with a friend at a skate park. That turned into making beats, which were pretty rough at first, but I kept at it and they slowly got better. Around 2017-2018, I started recording my own vocals too. Hearing how polished other artists' tracks sounded online pushed me to figure out how to get that same quality myself - and that's what led me into mixing and mastering. I've been refining my process ever since, so that's about 8 years of experience now.

A: Modern, clean, and punchy - polished enough for streaming, but still keeping the raw energy of trap and R&B.

A: Travis Scott, Mike Dean, The Weeknd, BIA, Dr. Dre, because they are big names

A: Always reference your mix against a commercial track in the same genre at matched loudness - it keeps your ears honest.

A: Vocal mixing - getting a vocal to sit clearly and emotionally in a trap/R&B mix.

A: A clean, radio-ready sound with a punchy low end and a vocal that sits clearly on top - without losing the emotion and energy of the original performance.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by cleaning up and organizing the stems and fixing any technical issues (noise, phase, timing). Then I build the balance around the vocal, shape the low end, add depth with reverb and delay, and finish with a mastering pass for loudness and translation across playback systems.
