I record rhythm guitar, bass lines, worship lead guitar, and gospel accompaniment in Luo, Kiswahili, and English worship styles for artists, churches, and music ministries worldwide.
My teaching approach is simple, practical, and worship‑focused. I prioritize helping beginners play confidently in a church or personal worship setting as quickly as possible. I teach step‑by‑step, at the student’s pace, and constantly reinforce concepts through repetition and practical application. Lessons are interactive, encouraging, and designed to build both musical skill and confidence.
Lessons are structured around:
Foundational guitar skills: correct posture, tuning, basic finger placement, and smooth chord transitions
Core worship chords and progressions commonly used in praise and worship songs
Strumming patterns tailored for slow, mid‑tempo, and upbeat worship styles
Playing while singing (optional), rhythm control, and clean timing
Real worship songs so students learn through music they love, not just exercises
60 minutes per lesson (recommended for steady progress)
Short reviews at the start and practical play‑throughs at the end
Homework exercises provided where helpful (chords, strumming drills, or song practice)
Experienced worship guitarist with practical church ministry experience
Regularly plays and teaches worship and gospel music
