Interview with Jacob Lyons
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been producing, mixing, and mastering a wide variety of music for 12 years now.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Parallel compression on vocals really helps them stand out in a mix! Doing layers of small amounts of compression rather than just hitting one instance of a compressor super hard helps the vocal to sound much stronger and balanced.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Logic Pro and Pro Tools for my mixing and mastering depending on the project. I have access to a full professional recording studio.

A: Kaskade, John Summit, Martin Garrix.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce, mix, and master a variety of genres for my clients. I specialize in more electronic genres such as EDM, House, and Hip Hop.
