Radio-Ready Mixing & Mastering — Fast Turnaround, Unlimited Revisions

I’m Daniel James, a mixing/mastering engineer and multi-instrumentalist running Daniel James Music and Media. I work across hip-hop, pop, and singer-songwriter genres, helping artists get a polished, professional sound without the studio price tag.

What you get:

• Clean, punchy mixes that translate across headphones, car speakers, and club systems
• Mastering that hits streaming loudness standards without losing dynamics
• 24-48 hour turnaround on most projects
• Unlimited revisions until you’re happy — no nickel-and-diming

I’ve built my process around efficiency without cutting corners, so you get major-label polish on an indie budget. Whether it’s a single you need mix-ready for release or a full EP that needs a cohesive sonic identity, I treat every project like it’s going to radio.

Send me your stems and let’s make it sound the way you heard it in your head.

  6. A: Not yet!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: I promise to be myself and do the best I can, and to be honest with them.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I’m so engulfed in the heart of music that people don’t always get why I’m so strange talking about it. I don’t just coach technical ability but how to get yourself into the song, and inject your full potential into it.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: How long have you been doing music for? Have you recorded before? Have you ever had a coach, and not just producer? Can you mix and mastering yourself? What brings you to me? What can I provide the most value in to you?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Be yourself, and let your character and self flow through your music. Don’t try and be someone else cause then we’re just making a song, not art.
