I have been playing and composing music for over forty years. During this time I have become familiar with a wide variety of piano styles including classical, baroque, romantic, impressionism, jazz, rock and pop.
Drawing on these influences I will aim to compose piano and keyboard parts that will suit your song or composition.
When coming up with accompaniments for songs, I try to be sympathetic to the spirit of the music and lyrics. Having a strong understanding of different styles helps me to do this.
Sometimes a straight forward chordal accompaniment will do. Other songs might require occasional licks or motifs. Sometimes the piano sits in background serving the texture of a piece, or it may be upfront carrying the essential harmony and melody.
The possibilities are endless.
