Interview with Kanpars

  1. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  2. A: "The biggest misconception is that music production is losing its human touch. People forget that behind every track, every frequency, and every beat, there is a real human heart and soul living and breathing the art we are not AI."

  3. Q: How would you describe your style?

  4. A: "I don't want to put bricks around me and feel stuck there like I can't escape. I can go for anything as I mentioned earlier, I don't have musical boundaries."

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: "My strongest skill is the ability to take an artist's raw vision even if it's just a hummed melody or a rough idea straight from their mind and bring it to life exactly as they imagined, turning unshaped inspiration into a fully polished reality."

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: "My workflow is fully collaborative and flexible. I'm completely open minded and happy to adapt to any creative direction, references, or specific notes from the artist's side. While I always move as fast as possible to respect deadlines, I never compromise on quality, making sure every project goes through the correct, precise steps from initial staging to the final master."

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: "I built my studio completely from scratch with my own hands, even constructing an extra interior wall to optimize the acoustics and create a dedicated, isolated recording space. Once the physical room was complete, I carefully invested in hardware and gear piece by piece as my budget allowed, resulting in a custom-tailored, self built workspace optimized for precise tracking, mixing, and production."

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: "Growing up immersed in hip-hop from a very young age, my biggest lifelong inspiration is Dr. Dre specifically his meticulous approach to beatmaking, mixing, and achieving that signature crisp, hard hitting punch. At the same time, I draw massive inspiration from modern independent trap, drill, and alternative soundscapes, blending that golden-era foundation with fresh, self contained modern production techniques."

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: "I specialize in end to end music production, professional mixing, and mastering across rap, trap, drill acoustic, and cinematic styles. Having spent years developing my own self contained workflow writing, producing, and mixing my entire catalog I now bring that exact same dedication, distinct character, and crisp punch to other independent artists projects."

  15. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  16. A: "I run my own projects, and I am proud of every single one of them. But there is one that stands above the rest: after surviving a severe traffic accident on April 23, 2026, where I broke my right shoulder and left elbow, I spent time in intensive care and weeks recovering in the hospital. As soon as I came home, still in pain and with broken arms, I produced all my singles and completed a 6-track EP. Music healed me. Now, I want to build a life through my art, create good memories, earn equipment to grow, and provide for my future."

  17. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  18. A: "Right now, I'm fully immersed in crafting a brand new boom bap album purely for the art, for myself, and driven by raw inspiration."

  19. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  20. A: "I don't know anyone here yet I'm new to this platform. But this is my absolute last shot at life, and I am going to either breathe through my art and succeed, or drown trying. Right now, my entire focus is on putting everything I have into the music."

  21. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  22. A: "If I had the budget for top-tier analog gear, I’d use it, but since I can't afford that right now, I've mastered working inside the digital DAW world to squeeze every ounce of power and soul out of it."

  23. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  24. A: "My promise is simple: I will always give you my absolute best, pouring 100% of my dedication and soul into your music every single time."

  25. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  26. A: "I love it because this job feels like stepping into a different universe. I love getting lost in melodies, and hearing the final, polished version of a project after mix and master is an incredible feeling along with so many other things that keep me inspired."

  27. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  28. A: "Since we are just stepping into this new chapter, I'll see what the future brings! But whatever questions come up, my door is always open and I'm ready to tackle them together."

  29. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  30. A: "When we start a project, I always like to get a clear picture by asking a few essential questions: What kind of vibe are they looking for? How much time do we have? And most importantly, what is their ultimate vision or idea in mind for this project?"

  31. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  32. A: "You can completely relax and keep an open mind. I love sharing ideas and collaborating closely, so we aren't just working on a track we're creating it together."

  33. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  34. A: "If you're on a desert island, whatever material thing you take will lose its meaning after a while anyway. So gear doesn't matter much—what matters is the creation itself."

  35. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  36. A: "I've been writing and creating music since 2005. Life threw its challenges my way and forced me to take detours for a long time, but now, it’s my time. I do this for the child inside me who used to stand in front of the TV watching other artists, dreaming of this exact moment. And when we work together, I bring that same dedication, soul, and realization of dreams to your music."

  37. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  38. A: "Anyone anytime, there is no why, I exist to create, for anyone who has a dream."

  39. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  40. A: "If there is a feeling then nothing can stop you, and do not try to hear a project you work on with just your ear—be one with it up to the deep of your soul."

  41. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  42. A: "I don't believe in musical boundaries. While I have deep roots in rap, trap, drill, and acoustic soundscapes, I'm fully adaptable and always ready to push my limits to deliver the best possible results across any genre a client brings to the table."

  43. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  44. A: "I bring out the absolute full potential of a song through an emotional, artist-first approach. Even if I didn't compose the original beat, my goal as a mix and mastering engineer is to amplify its core emotion, punch, and atmosphere so that listeners genuinely feel the track the moment they press play."
