Composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, featured in Rolling Stone MENA. Jazz-trained at Concordia, I've scored for film and TV and released an instrumental jazz album plus alt-rock/hip-hop singles as BOUMPH!. I play piano, keys, bass, guitar and drums, and I write music that tells a story, built to serve your picture.
I'm Ram Sleibi, a Canadian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Montreal.
I studied jazz at Concordia University and have scored music for film and television. My debut album, I Met a Hummingbird, is a seven-track instrumental story of heartbreak and acceptance that I wrote, arranged, played and produced myself. As BOUMPH!, I've released dozens of alt-rock and alt-hip-hop singles blending Arabic and Western sounds.
What I can do for you:
Original scores for film, TV, documentaries and shorts
Music for games, trailers, ads and brand content
Arabic and fusion music with an authentic touch
Full production, arranging and live instruments (piano, keys, guitar, bass, drums and vocals)
I grew up in a family of actors, so I think about music the way a storyteller does: what the scene needs, how it should feel, and when to hold back. Because I also edit video, I know how music works with picture and pacing.
Every note is 100% human-composed. I work in Logic Pro X and Pro Tools and deliver mixed, ready-to-use files.
