Garage & tech house remote mixing and mastering by a DJ and label co-founder (SUB ZERO VENICE). Punchy kick, solid sub, masters that hit on club systems and still sound great on Spotify. Stem mastering available. Free 5-minute mix check before you book.
I'm Pippo, a mixing and mastering engineer, DJ and founder for SUB ZERO VENICE, based in Venice, Italy. I work on house, tech house and garage.
Because I DJ, I mix and master for how music actually works on a big system: a kick that punches, a sub you feel without distortion, and a mix that stays clean when the volume goes up, while still sounding great on streaming and headphones.
What I'm best at:
Low-end control: kick/bass balance, mono sub, no mud
Masters ready for club systems and streaming
Stem mastering, when your mix is close but the low-end isn't
Extended mixes, radio edits, DJ-friendly versions
Services:
Stereo mastering: WAV 24-bit + MP3
Stem mastering (up to 10 stems)
Mix + master (up to 40 tracks)
EP and label rates on request
Two revisions included. You keep 100% of your rights. English and Italian spoken.
Not sure what you need? Send your track and a reference for a free 5-minute mix check, and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do with it.

Interview with Pippo
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: A low-end that translates on any system, fast communication and honest feedback, even when it means telling you the mix needs work before mastering.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Where will the track be played most: club, streaming or both? Which label is it going to? Which reference tracks do you love? What do you like and dislike about your current version?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Punchy, clean and loud where it matters, but never squashed. I want the groove to breathe.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: House, tech house, UK garage, and the new UK club sound.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Low-end. Getting kick and bass to work together so the track hits hard on a club system without losing clarity on small speakers.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to your track and references on monitors and headphones, fix problems first (low-end, resonances, harshness), then add character. Every master is checked on several systems and against commercial references before delivery.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Stereo and stem mastering for producers releasing on independent house and tech house labels, plus full mixes for producers who want a club-ready sound.
