With a recently earned Masters degree in music production from the Berklee College of Music, Guy Gualtieri (Gual) has mastered the art of enhancing emotion with a unique mix of throwback sounds and a modern-day approach that have an undeniably widespread appeal through the blend of sincere melodies and arrangements designed to move the mind, body, and soul as one.
Both in-studio and on-location recording services are available. I record primarily in Pro Tools with a diverse selection of new and vintage front-end gear such as dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones from Neumann, Royer, AEA, Sennheiser, AKG, Shure, and Rhode; SSL and Neve 500 Series mic preamps and EQs. I also work with a number of highly-talented session players skilled in many different genres.
In-the-box mixing using Pro Tools with a Presonus StudioLive 64 console. More plug-ins than can be listed, favorites include: Slate Digital Virtual Mix Rack dynamics and eq processing, Slate Digital Verbsuite Classics effect processing, Waves SSL channel strips, and Isotope Music Production Suite eqs, maximizers, and meters.
I'm also a proud member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP).

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My inspiration comes mainly from the artist and a well crafted song. My aim is to channel the energy and enthusiasm the artist has for the song into the production so it breathes a life of it's own.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening to the artist, understanding their vision, and using all available resources to produce a high quality product ready for market.
