My goal, through this platform, is mainly to provide multitrack drum stems for clients. I have a full-service recording studio, so I'm able to achieve all kinds of tones and mixes by processing my recorded tracks through vintage analog gear as well as the most powerful plugins available via Universal Audio. Here's the basic breakdown of my workflow on a satellite project:
-First, I would ask for a reference track of some sort to prepare my drum part.
-Second, I would send back to you a 2-Track .wav file of a rough take (single omni microphone recording).
-From there, we would decide on the final parts of the song.
-Next, I would record my final takes at full scale and export the subsequent tracks to their respective folders.
-Finally, if you would like, I can further process the tracks and print alternate "WET" stems.
