Multi instrumentalist/songwriter/lyricist/producer can turn your basic idea into something big

Hi. I'm James and I'm the owner of The Happentank, a recording and production studio in Scotland. Having played in bands for over 20 years, and paid for a multitude of recordings during this time, I decided to cut out the middleman and become a self contained, one man music machine. I started off recording my bands demo's before quickly moving on to friends and other local musicians. I then started helping younger artists hone and develop their songwriting skills, and finally decided to do full on productions for solo acts, and demo's for bands.

In 2015, over a number of weeks I got the chance to write and record with Grammy award winning songwriter/producer Eliot Kennedy for a project I was working on. During this time I learned some invaluable tips and techniques on songwriting I still use now.

I currently front and write for the pop/rock group Sianar

I specialize in a singer/songwriter type sound, but am open to any challenge. I can add guitar, bass, drums,piano, strings and various other instruments to your track
