Hi! I'm a professional drummer, musician, producer and sound engineer based in London, Uk.,,I_ run 'Darknote Studios', where I track drums for producers and artists across the world. I also produce and engineer bands and artists, helping to realise the sounds in their head.,,My own personal music taste tends to lean toward the darker side of music, bands like Chelsea Wolfe, Russian Circles, Jaye Jayle, Deftones, QOTSA and many more......
What makes me unique as an artist is a way I hear music and how it literally sounds in my head, the way my brain understands it and how my heart feels it. From here it just comes naturally: the lyrics, the concept, and the story. I write about a lot of things, but all of them involve some kind of feelings that I experienced.
I have 30 years experience playing drums and studied music at a tertiary level. I can program drums for acoustic or electronic music and I specialise in rock, pop and indie styles.
I am a lifelong electric bass and guitar player, trained by Tiran Porter of the Doobie Bros in modern fretted and fretless bass. I have been playing guitar for 17 years and bass for 15 years, and have played on hundreds of recordings for myself and clients and in over 20 bands. I also offer remote mixing, editing, and mastering in Logic.
