I am a musician first. I grew up listening and playing music. The engineering came later and was dictated by my needs as a performer. This enables me to understand what is required to let technology out of the way of creativity. I have more than 18 years experience in recording, mixing, producing and songwriting.
I'm a half Brit / half Swede living in Sweden. Most of my work is in a studio I run called The Overlook, located in the top of a 120 year old Seamen's church in the centre of Gävle. I record, mix and master. Most of the bands I produce/mix are in the extreme genres - but as an engineer I've worked with a lot of folk, pop and jazz.
Shuta Shinoda is the recording engineer and producer, nominated for Mercury prize 2015 for Ghost Poet, at Hackney Road Studios; a multi-room facility housing two premium quality vintage recording studios, each containing some of the most desirable vintage and modern specifications available in the industry today.

A lifetime of musical experience, plus the educational credit to back it up! I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Music Studies from Berklee School of Music. I have been playing guitar since the age of 7, and recording and releasing music commercially since 2018. I am confident I can nail your desired guitar or vocal part!
