Aaron Holthus is a professional bassist with 10+ years of experience performing and recording with diverse artists including the Grammy nominated One O'clock Lab Band. Holthus is at home both on the upright and electric bass, following in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, John Patitucci. Holthus works out of his home studio in Brooklyn, NY.

"Harmonica like Stevie Wonder and beyond". My sound is very influenced by Stevie, I've even subbed for him on a few sessions where he wasn't available at the time. I've played on a wide variety of artist's records covering genre's from Country to Jazz to World music to Electronic music. I can also cover all kinds of blues harmonica styles as well.

I specialize in textures and creative drumming. I like to prepare my drums using bells, objects and percussion on top of the hitting surfaces to create rattle and different types of layered sounds. I have made unique steel cymbals ranging from 24'' to 48'' to create very dark and metallic textures.

I have dedicated my life to mixing for the past 6 years, and I feel like my skill has finally gotten to the point where I can use to help other people create memories. So I hope I can do that for you!
