David Kerckhoff is a Nashville-based producer/writer and mixing and mastering engineer who specializies in hip-hop and modern pop. David studied under Grammy award winning producer, Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Eminem, A$AP Rocky). David prides himself on high-quality and creative vocal production and his unique ear for genre-bending music.

My artist project (NAWAS) has over 10,000,000 combined streams on Spotify, has been featured most recently by League of Legends as the theme song to their new game “CONVERGENCE,” and has been signed to both Capitol Records and Sony/ATV Publishing. I have worked with artists like Sam Tinnesz, Tommee Proffitt, Que Parks, and many more.

My inspirations are in the desire to act and make daily efforts that will make it possible to up your musical productions in order to reach their full potential.

I will write lyrics in any style to your musical track. Reggae, Hip Hop/Rap, Pop, Neo-Soul and R&B are my main areas. I will then create a suitable vocal melody to the lyrics and record them to a musical track you provide. I also provide lyric revisions. If you have an unfinished song or a completed one that needs extra eyes, I'm the one to call.

I founded Nomad Studio 12 years ago and have been recording, mixing and mastering ever since. I have worked for years to find the right technical set up. The studio has a large analogue component and machines chosen to make the work as warm as possible.

I'm a queer producer and artist who likes to make interesting tracks using lots of vocals and clicky beats. My work leans more towards the chilled electronic and experimental side of pop. I release music under the moniker Rigil, putting out solo releases and working with artists on collaborations and remixes.
