Geoff Saba, Sound Artist. Experimental drives, respectfully critical of tradition. Heavily informed by critical theory, post-structuralism, Jungian psychoanalysis, and the physical / intellectual / spiritual desires to create and produce art in the world.
I've been making music for about 4 years. I started out rapping with a few of my friends in a closet while my cousin engineered our sound. Eventually we graduated to going to an actual recording studio and then ventured into our own sounds. I felt like I was never getting the sound I wanted in the studio so I bought my own equipment and learned.
I arrange strings for hip-hop artists. I also make orchestral arrangements of pop songs and live working with singer-songwriters.
I have been playing and recording rock drums for over 35 years. I have a band called the GrooveSharks, and I can create the groove and the pocket for any song or sample you need live, professional drums on.
