My Name is Bob Houghton. I have been recording and producing singer songwriters and bands for several years. I have also supplied the bass tracks for most of the songs. Thanks for the interest in Houghton Studios.

I am a classically and jazz trained music composer, orchestrator, sound designer and mixer, mastering engineer, and virtuoso keyboardist. I have been involved with many projects, varying from film music, audio post-production - to songwriting and pop music production. Mastering is a passion of mine, which I have done for Wilco.

Mainly focussing on cinematic, ambient, chill, electronic music. Most of my tracks are instrumental, however every track has a certain theme and story it wants to tell. My tracks are often a combination between synthesizer sounds and traditional piano sounds.

I can produce a track from start to finish and mix and master it professionally. On 2018 I participated in a remix contest by metapop.com for the song "Gravity" and took the 1st place out of about 64 participants.
