I make records for a living and love helping to bring out the best in the art of my peers. From years of touring as a guitarist and musical director in the indie rock world (Jenny Lewis, Rilo Kiley, Julian Casablancas, etc.) to making a ton of records as a session player/producer, I come from a uniquely interesting perspective and pedigree.

I craft intense, cinematic soundscapes and deep, story-driven lyrics through obsessive, ground-up production. Whether the need is a haunting narrative told through lyrics that cut to the bone, or atmospheric instrumentation, I treat every project as a major work. I don't just provide files; I obsess over every detail until the vision is flawless.

I compose/produce cinematic neo-classical orchestral music. I can work with any project that needs a music. My main focus is large ensembles. I like wide stereos and large sounds. Yet, I can also go pretty simple. I prefer composing with instruments without using lyrics. Still I compose in hybrid-orchestral genres, but the body is still orchestral.
