Salute! Based in Los Angeles/Toronto, I am an extremely versatile and experienced singer/songwriter with a background in Jazz, Soul and Pop. I was a finalist in the 2017 Canadian, and International Songwriting contests. I have worked alongside Grammy Award Winner Ian Cross (Janet Jackson), and world renowned producers Jam and Delgado (Aqua).
I am an indie/alt singer-songwriter out of Los Angeles, CA. I play acoustic guitar and write all of my solo material, as well as play in an acoustic rock band, reminiscent of Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles. I am a session vocalist looking to work in ALL GENRES.
Over 40 years in the music industry I have worked with some of the best in the business Drumming and Recoding as well as production my credits include Chaka Khan ,Erikah Badu Marcus Miller and many more I'm featured on Grammy and Platinum and Emmy winning productions.Currently working as a independent artist and studio owner here in Pittsburgh.Pa
My focus is quality. That means never cutting corners making sure your song comes out PERFECT (fitting to your needs). The reason I charge a lower price than everyone else is because not all of us have tons of money to spend and I understand! I have played upright bass for 12 years and electric bass for 5 years. I plan to bring these experiences to your song/album or gig. I have played mostly jazz, pop, r&b, and rock, but can bring my expertise to any situation. I am based in Boston, but will travel if the circumstances permit.
You hire me for custom recorded high level multi style percussion for every thinkable musical situation. - I record overdubs, sounding 'dry', without effects/plugins. (You do the mixing in your session) - Editing and bouncing is done resulting in flawless hi res .wav/aiff files. - You get those files through ‘wetransfer’ or whatever suits you.
Having been surrounded by music my entire life as a fan as well as being an entertainer has helped me appreciate the importance of music production. I have spent countless years perfecting my personal musicianship as a writer, instrumentalist and recording engineer. Challenge has always fascinated me when it comes to mixing and mastering
A lot of times, people get lost in the process of producing music. To make matters worse, the solutions they propose (“the song needs new guitars”, “mastering will fix it”, etc.) might not at all be what will actually make the song better. I specialize in stepping into these situations and using fresh ears to get the track to the finish line.
