Hi I am Steve. I started off doing FOH for artists (hitting the road with DFA 1979, Alexisonfire, Ill Scarlett, Protest The Hero) while building my studio chops in between. I have produced/engineered Juno Nominated recordings, gained heavy radio rotation and worked on some great projects. Let's discuss yours.
I'm a freelance audio/mix engineer and musician from the UK. I have spent the past few years interning and working at numerous studios in and around Liverpool in order to learn, practice, and gain audio engineering/mixing experience. I am currently mixing 'in-the-box' using Logic Pro X and a wide variety of third-party plugins.
I've been a professional bass player for over 30 years working with bands, singer songwriters and producers. For me the bass is all about feel and locking in to that drum track. Even if the drums are programmed and dead on the beat, a bass track with human feel makes a massive difference to the piece of music.
