My name is Michael Lund and I am the founder of Dire Lion Music, a satellite recording and composing studio that works with clients across the globe. I have over a decade of experience in creating and producing music. I am a dedicated and passionate composer who has created music in nearly every genre and style possible.

I have toured and recorded with several legendary Country Music artists over the past 25 years. I have owned and operated a recording studio since 2001 where my works can be heard on national ad campaigns and even the theme song for the SyFy hit series "Haven".

I enjoy bike riding and long walks on the beach . . . Wait . . oops, sorry, wrong website! ;) Seriously though, music production is my passion. I love the challenge, the collaboration and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with being part of a record that sounds great and fulfils the artist and me aesthetically.

I am an Audio Engineer and Music Producer. I was inspired to start producing music in 2014 because of my interest in electronic sounds and the inspiration from artists like Excision. I attended the Artist Development and Recording Arts program at The Noize Factory in Toronto, Canada.
