I offer what few others can: the perspective of one thoroughly trained in both the "creative" (performance, composition) and "technical" (recording, editing, mixing, mastering) sides of music, who is conversant in an extraordinarily broad range of music. I have an exquisite ear for creating a clear, balanced sound within genre conventions

As a guitarist I have sixteen years' experience in a range of styles, including a classical undergraduate degree in guitar performance. I have performed with rock (including, punk, metal, prog, hard rock, etc), jazz, funk, hip hop, classical, early music, avant-garde, and improv ensembles. Currently I play guitar in Nipper the Band, a Philadelphia based progressive pop rock group.

As an engineer and producer I have fourteen years' experience recording, mixing, and mastering my own projects as well as those of other performers, including a master's degree in music technology from New York University. I have recorded, mixed, mastered, and remixed rock, funk, classical, traditional pop, hip hop, electronica, and electronic dance records. I have over a decade's experience as a producer in the hip hop and electronic music genres. Recently I have mixed my band's debut EP and live album with results that speak for themselves.

I use Presonus Studio One and a great variety of third-party plugins to deliver professional quality productions.

I offer a broad range of services but am mostly interested in projects needing mix engineers or session guitarists. I value my time, labor, and skills but am willing to negotiate prices based on circumstances. I will meet deadlines and deliver projects in an organized and clear manner according to my training and expertise.
