Evert Daniel Aalten is keyboard/guitar player, studio engineer & producer at Scandal Studios (Netherlands). He is involved in many music projects, such as Alexander McKenzie & the Underpaid, Jackie Please, Boot Recordings and Ugandan Recordings. He is more and more involved in (music)film projects, filming, editing as well as making soundtracks.

Evert's speciality is playing and recording keys.
This is what he studied for at the Rotterdam conservatory, Pop department.

-Hammond A100 with Leslie 122
-Wurlitzer A200 electric piano (stereo upgraded by EP-Service) with Fender Twin amp
-Fender Rhodes electric piano with Fender Twin amp
-Acoustic Yamaha, Huyundai upright piano's and a Pleyel grand piano

Besides that Evert produces, engineers, and records lots of music.

Besides in music, Evert also obtained a degree in Cultural Anthropology at the Utrecht University. Anthropology and music proved to be a valuable combination in field recording.
He records in studios, but often on location as well, for music and audio for film. Amongst others, Evert made field recordings in Jamaica, Uganda, South-Africa, England and the Netherlands.
