Mixing & Mastering Engineer specialized in indie & bedroom pop, with award-winning credits in film and TV sound (HBO/Max, Prime Video).
I'm a mixing & mastering engineer, producer, and sound designer based in São Paulo, Brazil, focused on indie and bedroom pop. The warm, textured, slightly lo-fi sound you hear from artists like Joji, Djo, and Sombr. I build my chains specifically around that aesthetic: tape-style saturation, intimate vocal treatment, and mixes that feel close and human. I also produce, mix, and master pop and alternative tracks when the song calls for a cleaner finish.
My ear was sharpened on high-stakes professional work: I mix and master for film and TV, with credits on Cidade de Deus: A Luta Não Para (HBO/Max), Cangaço Novo T2 (Prime Video), and Ângela Diniz: Assassinada e Condenada (HBO), work that earned my team the Prêmio ABC for Best Series Sound. That same discipline, precision, attention to detail, knowing when a mix is actually finished, is what I bring to every track I work on.
How I work: I deliver a mix within 3–4 days of receiving your session, with 3 rounds of revisions included to make sure it lands exactly where you want it.
You'll receive:
✅ Mixed & mastered WAV (24-bit), loudness-matched to your target platform
✅ 3 rounds of revisions
✅ Unmastered/mix-only stems
Send me your track plus 1–2 references of the sound you're going for, and I'll get back with a quote and timeline.

check_circleVerifiedArthur was fantastic! Made the whole process super easy. If you need a guy who can make your drums and bass sound a lot better, than he's your guy.
check_circleVerifiedArthur is so patient, receptive, and efficient. He was the first producer I've ever worked with to release my first ever song, and I could not have asked for someone better. He listened to and tried every suggestion I had, even if ultimately we didn't go in that direction. Edits took a week to complete maximum which was really impressive given the long lists of edits I would propose each time to refine the song. I loved collaborating with him!
check_circleVerifiedHighly recommended.
check_circleVerifiedGreat work as always.

Interview with Arthur
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's the song about, and what feeling should the listener walk away with? What references are you chasing? And is there anything about your current rough mix you already love and don't want me to touch?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send references! Two or three tracks that capture the sound you're going for tell me more in 30 seconds than a paragraph of description. It saves time and gets you a better first mix.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Warm, intimate, and textured. I like mixes that feel close to the listener, with just enough rawness to keep them human.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't chase loudness before you chase clarity. A mix that's clear and well-balanced at a moderate level will always translate better, and master better, than one that's already fighting for headroom.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly indie and bedroom pop, with some pop and alternative when the song calls for a cleaner finish.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal treatment. Making a vocal feel close, warm, and present without over-processing it. That's the backbone of the bedroom pop sound, and it's where I spend most of my attention on every mix.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Precision without losing feel. My background mixing for film and TV trained me to be exact and detail-obsessed, but with music, especially bedroom pop, I know when "imperfect" is actually the right call.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by listening to the full session and the artist's references to understand the target sound, then build a rough balance before diving into detailed EQ, compression, and tonal shaping. I send a first version, gather feedback, and refine through up to 3 rounds of revisions until the mix matches the artist's vision.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of a studio built around an SSL 2 interface, Adam Audio T8V monitors, and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones for cross-checking translation. My main DAWs are Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Ableton Live, with iZotope RX, FabFilter, Soothe2, and UAD plugins rounding out the chain.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Joji, Djo, and Sombr are huge references for me. The way they treat imperfection as a feature, not something to be polished away.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is mixing and mastering indie and bedroom pop tracks for independent artists, taking a home-recorded or DAW-produced demo and turning it into a warm, release-ready record without losing the intimacy that makes the genre special.
