Experience of: back up vocals for beat boxing artist Grace Savage at Roundhouse Rising Festival 2017; jam sessions at Off the Cuff bar in Brixton, London (UK) for the Jipsy Tuesday's weekly music appointments; 2017/18 workshops with Tour Music Fest at Mogol's school in Italy; 2018 RMA school's performance at Teatro Posillipo, Naples (IT).
Style: Alternative with Pop, Rock and Prog influences. I like to consider myself as a “weird and honest storyteller”: my goal is to give a truthful and yet not-so-straightforward account about my life’s journey and experiences. For more, check my Instagram (@sereenm25) and Facebook (@sereenmsi).
My journey with music begins in 2003 as a trainee keyboard player and, later, as a singer and lead vocalist for cover band. However, my real first taste of song-writing and recording came during 2013 in Madrid (ES) where I recorded my first (non) original demos and started writing my first original songs. Since then, I have been chasing music as a destiny. The latter led me to London (UK), where, after three years of soul searching, I finally recorded my first EP, of which I am planning the release. Moreover, I am currently involved in: studies for Professional Music Diploma at RMA school in Posillipo, Naples (IT); featurings and remote collaborations with Indie London artists/producers.
AVAILABLE for: remote/session collaborations (vocals; lyrics); studio sessions; featurings; live performance (back up vocals; duets; touring).

Interview with Sereen.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: On the launch and promo of my first EP; getting my Music Diploma; create my roster of artists to work with, especially abroad!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: CIRCUS STUDIOS NAPLES.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The opportunity to create links with artists from other countries.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it is not an investment; a project; a career choice.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Check my bio! More precisely, I have been consistently working on starting my career path as a solo artist for the last 2 and a half years (even if my history with music is much longer!).
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: My dream would be Muse! Stromae too.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rap, Rock, Alternative, Indie, Pop, Folk.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to immediately connect with a song, both vocally and lyrically.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My accent and my tone. Moreover, I like to cross over between Italian and English, which I believe gives a twist!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen or create drafts of projects. I mainly start from voice melodies and then write lyrics. After that I try to put chords to it. I like to create a very specific imagery and concept when I write.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Rick Rubin. I am thrilled and inspired by his ability to minimalize and yet value the artists's expression, emotions and style.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly work with new artists (rap; pop; rock); sound producers; session musicians. What I am passionate about is working on original songs and projects. Due to my logistics, I mainly create projects from Italy to then travel and record them abroad. They mostly require me for me duets and featurings.
