Mike Green Record and Mix on SoundBetter

Work is 100% guaranteed. Revisions until you're satisfied.

I graduated from UMass Lowell's Sound Recording Technology program in 2017. I have been freelancing since then out of Boston's The Record Co where I am also a studio supervisor. I specialize in recording and mixing all types of rock and I'm especially experienced in recording and mixing live drums for any style.

I record acoustic, classical, and Hip-Hop as well. Here's some of my work:

Interview with Mike Green Record and Mix

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: A ska punk album!

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Both! Mixing digitally provides the best flexibility by far, but I often use analog signal processing too!

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: My promise is that I will work with them until they are completely satisfied with the sound of their project. I'm always connected so I usually respond to messages fast!

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: I always ask for examples of albums they admire the sound of. This gives me the best idea of what they are going for and helps us arrive at the best sound faster.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: I do mostly recording and mixing for rock/pop bands.
