If you have a voice and a vision, I can help bring your ideas to life. From pre to post production, I'm your guy. I will produce, record, mix and master your record. I pride myself on exceeding expectations.

I have been producing non-stop for 5 years and have a strong passion for music.

I graduated from SAE Expressions with Honors at the top of my class and started working at a studio while I was still enrolled.

I am currently working out of my own studio.

I mix and master on the side for people that want their work completed and ready for distribution.

For a lot of artists, I will produce their music, record them, mix, and master the record.

I specialize in Hip-hop. R&B, and EDM, but am open to other genres.

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

I started with only the lyrics and melody. I had no idea what the beat should have sounded like, but he made it happen and it matches the mood of the song perfectly. I'm glad to have found him here on Soundbetter. Great artist!

Jordan is an awesome engineer!!! He mixed my track the same day I sent it. I had him mix an electronic song for me and he has the mix sounding perfect. The sonic space he created was next level. Will be booking him again!

Truly one of the most consistent producers that i have had the pleasure of working with. Over the last maybe 3 to 4 years , I've witnessed Joyrizer evolve and engulf himself in his craft. As an artist, there really isn't much more you can ask for. His committment is a constant reminder to continue, so thankful that are paths crossed. Highly recommended.

Big time fan of this hit maker. His music theory knowledge places him in the ranking of a composer rather than simply a man who makes beats. His rhythms are versatile, the sound quality is off the chain and his recording studio has hundreds of voices living in those walls. Tupac, Nate Dogg, Nipsey Hussle aaaaaand Prince all came through my session! This is a spiritually connected individual who puts his heart into his sound. I'm extremely pleased to work with this astonishingly talented individual. A constellation of stars for Joyrizer.

Joyrizer don't play Is not only his musical tag, this is also his overall stamp in life. No matter what level of artistry you are currently at, Joyrizer will meet you on all levels of life, and assist you in your goals. After the year 2020 it will probably be very difficult to book a session with him because his trajectory within his career is developing at an extremely fast rate. I would suggest you contact him sooner then later and feel free to contact me personally if you get anything besides the best results.

Joyrizer is his name and having a passion for music is his game. From making his own beats to working with artist of any kind of genre Joyrizer is an all around engineer producer and one day a well known artist. I have worked with bro for about a few months now and I can honestly say his work is efficient, on time, casual, fun, and very professional. JoyRizer is a down earth individual willing and diligently working, adding his own sound, and paying tribute to the culture of Music.

Joyrizer is such a talented producer. His creativity and dedication shines through his music hence his name. He really is on the rising spreading joy through ever beat. I heard a song he made with my friend Marlee and I loved it and I loved the sound. I knew his beats would be perfect for some things I had just written. I’ve been working with him for some months now and we are creating some great music I can’t wait to release soon. I have been having so much fun creating and collaborating with him. I highly recommend everyone to check out his music song to work with him!

Interview with Joyrizer

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Outrageous Karina and I dropped an EP called "Good At This". We both enegineered and mixed the project. It was one of the most fun I've had working.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm working on a personal project with a client on some electronic music that he and I both sing on.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Karina Flonnoy. She's a great engineer and a great songwriter and artist.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital. Digital emulation has come a long way and ,in my opinion, can compete with analog now.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I will always be professional.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I get to do what i love everyday and I'm able to support myself off of it.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: What are your rates? My rates are 40 per hour for recording, 60 per hour for mixing and mastering and 150-200 for an exclusive beat.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I'm not a musician....

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What kind of work are you looking to get done? How can I help with it? When do you need it done by? Do you have any references of work so I know what I'm aiming for?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: I work fast and accurately, I'm very agreeable and accommodating, and I will always be honest.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A generator that runs on water, my laptop, a mic, an interface, and an iso ball.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been producing for almost 6 years now and have been engineering for 3. I was working out of a garage with low end equipment and working dead end jobs for a long time. I finally paid off my debts and went to school so that I could do this full time. After i graduated with honors at the top of my class, I opened up my own studio. I love what I do.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Versatile. Always.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Roddy Rich is one of my new favorite artists. He mixes the "trap" element with the "melodic", which is one of my specialties.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Always lower your instrument levels to -12dB, adjust gain, and then boost in the limiter. This way you get a clean and rounded mix.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I like a lot of hip-hop and r&b myself, but I would love to do more electronic projects. It's more fun for me. It's closer to home.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: I'm very versatile. A lot of people claim to make different sounding music, but I really do that. I work with every genre, that can be synthesized.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Unique energy. I try and do something different to every song I work with to give it an edge, without taking away from the familiarity.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I produce a beat, show it to an artist, they write to it, I record them, and then mix and master it. I pretty much to it all, start to finish.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I have a Telefunken Copperhead CU-29 microphone that runs through an avalon preamp. I use an Element 24 as my interface and my DAW is Pro Tools. We have built our own booth in our studio with top of the line equipment and materials.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Mike Dean, for one, has created a lot of artists "sounds" and that inspires me to develop artists a lot more. A lot of big name producers in the "rap" corner have given me tips and pointers on how to take my production to the next level, and it's worked out for me. Also, I follow many EDM producers because I love their sound design and composition, but there's too many to name a few. Medasin and Just A Gent are two that are my favorites.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Mostly Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B
