Cole Fleming on SoundBetter

Hi there, I've been producing music for twelve years and mixing for five. I specialize in EDM genres like Future Bass, Trap and Dubstep. I have an undergraduate degree in Music Technology from Susquehanna University. Let's work together! Average mixing price per song: $75

2) Studio Mixdown

This also includes both the Wav file and mp3 of your printed, unmastered mix, however the amount of stems you send me can exceed thirty.
(Average Price: $100)

3) Classic Mixdown and Master

SUPER taleneted guy. Cole is extremely knowledgable on music production and delivers professional quality mixing & mastering. Very happy with my final master. He also gave me critical feedback on my music to improve my songs for the future. Would definitely recommend him if you want a high quality mix and master of your songs represented in a way that meets both of your expectations!

Interview with Cole Fleming

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: I promise to deliver the best possible representation of your song or your money back.

  3. Q: What's your typical work process?

  4. A: First, I start with the drums. Drums are usually the backbone of any EDM song, so that's why it's the best place to lay the framework for the mix. Sculpting each percussive hit so it fits seamlessly into the context of the track is a vastly important part of what I do, so I take my time to make sure each flourish pops the way it should and every accent is highlighted where it's needed most. Once I have the drums set, I move onto the melodic production, starting with the bass and working my way up the frequency spectrum. Using a variety of some of the best digital saturating, EQ and compression plugins in the game, I test what works best for YOUR track. I'm acutely aware all songs are to be treated differently and I'm dedicated to making your sounds coherently mesh with one another. After I've worked through your synths and sampled instruments, I move onto the leads and vocals of your track using renowned processing techniques to get the most crisp and clean results your project needs.

  5. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  6. A: Would love to get a peak at Skrillex's mix and master process. He has some of the cleanest assortments of sound I've ever seen!

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: A balanced mix. In EDM, it's generally important to make the drums pop and give movement to the track through sidechaining while the melodic elements hold a seamless, yet evolving relationship with one another.
