gads6y (Alex Gadoury) is a producer & artist from Toronto, Canada. Gadoury's darkly crooning vocals combine with slick guitar riffs, creating a sound that is both dark & seductive. An experienced collaborator, Gadoury has worked as a producer, songwriter & guitarist with artists such as: Will Ryte, yxshi, Miette Hope and NOA.

Gadoury spent two years at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he majored in Music Production and Engineering. Upon returning to Toronto, he completed the Music Mixing & Mastering program at Metalworks Institute.

Steeped in the hometown influence of OVO/XO & his blues guitar upbringing, Gadoury's style fits squarely into the 21st century mainstream while also paying homage to classic R&B. As a self-produced artist, Gadoury augments his songs through meticulously crafted beats and creative vocal manipulation. Tracks like 'How to Love' bring Gadoury's vocal into a synthetic realm reminiscent of artists like James Blake & Partynextdoor. Others like 'Photographs' & 'Nicotine' explore a type of nouveau Trap, fusing contemporary rhythms and flows with soulful guitar playing (influenced by the likes of John Mayer, Eric Clapton, & George Benson).
