I don’t just play parts—I elevate songs. Whether it’s soaring saxophone lines, lush flute and reed arrangements, or textured guitars, keys, melodica as well as vocals, songwriting and production, I bring a signature sound that cuts through and connects.

What up! I’m Chris del Camino — multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter from California, now based in the Netherlands.

For most of the 2010s, I was on tour with reggae/pop act HIRIE as a founding member, co-writer, and multi-instrumentalist. I've helped shape songs on all 5 of the band's full lengh albums through collaborative songwriting, pre-production, and recording, and on the road I became known for crafting immersive live moments—building custom backtracks, layering transitions, and creating those “in-the-zone” moments that lift a show from good to unforgettable.

As a session player, I specialize in saxophone but thrive when I can expand the sonic palette—flute, melodica, accordion, guitars, keys, or synths—to bring richness and unexpected color to a track. My style blends precision with creativity, whether I’m writing a soaring sax line, stacking lush wind arrangements, or producing dynamic pop backdrops.

As a songwriter & collaborator I love co-writing and co-inspiring. My strengths are in shaping songs with intentionality—introducing unique chord progressions, carving out space in busy lyrics, designing push/pull moments through chords, rhythm, or production shifts. My goal is always to help songs breathe, evolve, and move people.
