Recording, Mixing, Producing

As a producer, my role is as a creative enabler and resonator to realize an artists musical vision. As an engineer, my studio is set up to be a comfortable creative space where ideas can flow fast and free. And as a mixer, I want to express sonically what the artist hears, and find and expose those magical moments in a mix.

My studio, Resonate, is located in Austin, TX. I record and produce mostly indie rock bands, but it ranges from singer-songwriter, country, electronic-ambient and even avant-guard jazz occasionally. I am also the keyboard player in the rock band Nada Surf. I have been involved in almost all of their records in some capacity (engineer, producer or musician).
