Producer, mixer, songwriter

I am a producer, engineer, mixer, songwriter with over fifty album projects to my credit including artists like Laura Nyro, Phoebe Snow, and Suzanne Vega, and solo albums on Warner Brother/Reprise and independent labels.

Born and raised in Greenwich Village, a contemporary of James Taylor, I have worked in top studios in NY, LA, and Tokyo, produced songwriters of all stripes and have been considered a songwriter's songwriter in my own right. Projects I have produced have resulted in recording contracts with labels such as Atlantic, Pony Canyon (Japan) and Windham Hill Records, to name a few, and I have worked extensively with indie/alternative songwriters and bands for two decades. After some years in LA and Santa Barbara, California, I have built a studio/mix space on the central coast of Maine.
