A ZI is the alias of Mostafa Azadi. Record Producer, Audio Engineer, DJ at the forefront of the electronic music movement. Originally from IR, Started his music journey by age 13, teaching himself the basics with online tutorials, After gaining a following from songs he posted online he won a couple of remix contests. In 2016 he began to distribute his own singles under the name A ZI. His collaborations include Puzzle Band, Koorosh, Isam, Ali Ezza, Vinak, Shahin Loo & countless others. A ZI founded his label UltraPop Records in 2022. A ZI continues to evolve and diversify his sound by working with artists around the globe, pushing the boundaries of dance music as he collaborates across genres and languages. His music genres include American Pop, Chillout, Deep-house, House, Future Bass, Future House, Hip-hop, Trap, and Retro - synth-wave.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Mixing a song for a client

A: both, depends on the song and the genre
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's the art of expressing yourself with sounds,I'm having fun with it, I found a lot of friends in the music, everything about music is great
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: is it final? lol my answer is for me, yes, but it's your song so you tell me
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just hire me and see the result
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: a MacBook, studio headphone (because you don't have an acoustic room to use speakers haha)Midi keyboard, soundcard + My Hard drive
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Trap style with EDM vibe and inspiration + Sometimes Pop feels
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do a parallel for your vocal and distort the hell out of it with lots of reverb and delay and lots of EQs then sidechain it to the main vocal, this makes a cool atmosphere with lots of depth for your vocal

A: Mostly Rap, Hip-hop, Trap, and EDM

A: Working with vocals and produce the song when I have the vocal, Making powerful beats

A: IMO a lot of emotions and depth, atmosphere, high-quality sounds

A: I usually like to start with playing and come up with chords or melodies and then add drums and produce the track

A: Producers, DJs like DJ Snake, Skrillex, marshmello, Ilya salmanzade really inspire me in Music

A: I mostly Produce and make beats for my clients and after that, the most common thing is doing mixing and mastering
