Violinist, string arranger, composer, performer, producer, with extensive experience of recording and performing live, globally. Over 200 recording artist credits including Paul Carrack.
Trading as Mild Frontiers.
I am capable of working in professional studios, internationally as solo recording artist or creating arrangements either tracking parts or with a string sections/ensembles depending on budget and the way you want to record.
There are occasions when it is both quicker and more efficient to work as one performer/arranger to deliver products, or when production time and budget allows working with a group of players.
I also have the capacity to create recordings remotely for your products and send you the recordings/parts.
Where necessary, this could be arranged at a local professional studio.
I am a Master of Arts graduate from the University of Glasgow, specialising in music and psychology, including composition, electronic music composition, recording, orchestration & more.
Professionally, I have a background in music production for broadcast at Radio Clyde in Glasgow, working with a 24 track professional studio at the station, and a 24 track recording mobile back in the days of reel technology !!!
Producing of radio studio recording sessions include with Melissa Etheridge, Julia Fordham, Kevin Roland, The Bible, Fairground Attraction,Gale Ann-Dorsey and The Silencers.
I have toured extensively across Europe, up to stadium venue capacities and globally I have performed as a WOMAD artist (AU/ES/IT/NZ/SG/UK/USA/ZA).
