Joshua "J.D." Walker (born April 8, 1983) is an American songwriter, record producer, and mixing engineer based in Beverly Hills, California. With a career spanning over two decades, Walker has collaborated with a diverse array of global artists, including Cher, Neyo, Kylie Minogue, Jason Derulo, Enrique Iglesias, Burna Boy, and Shaboozey, contributing to records with combined sales exceeding 5 million units. Known for his genre-bending approach, he seamlessly blends pop, hip hop, country, trap, and electronic music, earning certifications such as RIAA Platinum, CRIA Platinum, and Grammy nominations.

Since 2017, in partnership with Penthouse Studios, Walker has contributed musically and sonically to the development of early African American country artists, including Grammy-winning artists such as Shaboozey and Willie Jones. His 2025 release, the "Wrangler Remix" featuring Austin Martin and Chingy, exemplifies his ability to fuse country with trap and hip hop, accompanied by a vibrant music video that highlights his innovative vision. Walker currently operates out of Apex Arts Studios in North Hollywood, California, equipped with Pro Tools, UAD plugins, and other high-end gear. His work extends beyond production to vocal tuning, instrumentation, and mastering, offering both online and in-person services.
