I'm a seasoned music professional, who has been making music for well over a decade. As a self-producing artist who enjoys the music-making process, I'd love to be a part of your next project.
I offer remote mixing and mastering services. I strive to preserve the artist's vision and help it come to life in what I do.
I operate out of my home studio in tropical North Australia, where the sun is always shining and the grass is always green. I use state of the art software and equipment to achieve optimal results on every track.

Interview with Shem
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Andrew Belle - a very exciting artist.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more and more is more. As long as everything in a song has a place and purpose, then that's a really good starting point.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The first thing I do is try to understand what the artist is trying to achieve with a song. Then I try to imagine how I can help make that artistic vision come to life.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired a lot by the recent studio work of Rhye, Roosevelt and Tom Misch. Cool sounds and well-executed productions.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My most common remote jobs are mastering and mixing work.
