Chris Ulmer is the owner & operator of Powered By Sound Production. He has been active in the music industry since a young age. Starting his first band playing guitar in only second grade, things moved fast from there. He is now a multi-instrumentalist, engineer, producer, & songwriter. Having worked with many artists over the years, Chris has seen all sides of the industry through the lens of many genres. After graduating from Full Sail University in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Recording Arts he went on to work live events for Production Resource Group. During his time there he did not stop working on the production, songwriting, and engineering though. He founded Powered By Sound Production in 2016 for this. Chris started collaborating with many top beatmakers and producers, started a beat store, and started working with other artists. An early success was when he had the chance to help Flyguy2stackz engineer and distribute his track UGA Anthem with Rich Homie Quan. Since then, Chris has interned at major studios in Atlanta 5Star Production (owned by Future) and 11th Street Studios where countless classics were recorded. He also started to produce music remotely in 2019. Since then he has helped a number of artists bring their sound and vision to life with great success. He now owns his own music library for film/tv/video games and produces music full-time.
