I can produce and compose original tracks for you from scratch. I primarily work in the Studio One but I am familiar with Logic Pro X as well. I specialize in Hip Hop, R&B, Pop and Trap. Interview with Darius Jerae
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I got a chance to work on and be a part of Disney+ movie called "Magic Camp". Who doesn't want to have a credit of that statue on their resume. lol
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm always working on something for myself.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I haven't had a lot of experience with analog. One day I would like to though.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To Respect their time and money and get them a finished product that they are happy with.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to create music everyday all day lol!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you cant make real money A

A: What's your budget? What's your deadline? What's the overall vision? What sound are you trying to accomplish? Do you have any artist in mind that you would like for you vocals to sound like? Who and what inspires you as an artist? what would you like for me to help you accomplish with this project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: When working with artist and song writers a completed body of work represents all of us. So I'd say, be open to change and other ideas, especially when working with a music producer. Our job is to bring the overall vision together and some times that means getting rid of some element and adding some elements.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Computer, 8T Hard Drive, Midi Board, Headphone and Cell Phone
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My Career path was just to simply be a Music Producer but in pursuit of that dream so many doors have opened and I have become much more than that. I've been in the game for about 15 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Although I can play the keys, my first love is playing the drums. So most of my music is driven by drums and percussion unless im creating something with more of a classic feel to it. Then I lean more toward instrumentation.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Outkast!!! If they were to ever reunite. My all time favorite duo.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be open to everyone's idea when working with a team!

A: Pop, Hip Hop, Trap, A Lot of different styles for TV/Film

A: Listening. LOL

A: The uniqueness of myself ( just being me) Being Original but also being current.

A: Talk to artist about the direction and vision of a project. Listen to music and or song for ideas. Vibe out and create a good atmosphere. Then create music.

A: MY Home Studio consist of... iMac, Apollo Interface, M-Audio BX8s, Waves Plugins, Slate Digital VMS One, VMS ML-1 Classic Tubes & Virtual Preamp Collection. Although i don't always work from my studio.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I come from a family of musicians, singers and songwriters so I'm always inspired by them.
