I’m a full-time freelance mix engineer and music producer from San Francisco, CA. I have almost 20 years of experience, and have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing artists over the years, including Bay Area metal legends Machine Head, Social Studies, and The Sam Chase.

Music has always been a part of my life. As a small child, I remember rocking out to records in my bedroom, and running around recording everything imaginable with my little cassette tape recorder. I began playing instruments in the 1st grade, and was a band geek throughout my school career. I eventually picked up the guitar when I was 12 years old, and began playing in bands and recording song ideas on my Foxtex 4-track recorder. Finally, in 1997, I was bitten by the production bug when my band recorded with engineer Mike Zirkel (Garbage, Death Cab For Cutie) at Butch Vig’s Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin…an experience that would change my life forever and set me on a course which has held to this day.

Along the way I’ve had the privilege of being taught by some of the best in the industry, including Michael James (New Radicals, Janes Addiction, Hole, L7), Michael Rosen (Death Angel, Rancid, Testament), and Bryan Matheson (The Pacific Mozart Ensemble, owner of Skyline Studios). These producers and engineers provided me the insight into what it takes to make a great sounding record and gave me the foundation to record and mix audio on a professional level.

I enjoy working on a variety of types of music including Rock, Metal, Indie, Pop, Country, Folk, etc...

We had a great time working with Keith, he did a brilliant job on our first self titled ep X-Method and our full album Sex,Alcohol,Rebel Music.I am a song writer and it felt really good to work with someone that helped me bring my vision to life as opposed to re-creating the art and making it their own vision.Thanks to Keith and his hard work, we have a large underground following in Japan and will be touring there in 2020.

Keith is a consummate professional with deep knowledge of all facets regarding production, arrangement, and general mixing. As producer and mixing engineer of SAICS debut EP, his unique amalgam of skills allowed us to take our artistic vision far beyond its original conception. His attention to detail regarding the mix is formidable. In addition, he offers creative suggestions to artists involved in a manner that is flexible and well received. His obsession to get things just right combined with a deep concern for what serves the song makes him ultimately indispensable. It’s a no brainer.
