Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I had a rock band where we performed live countless times and traveled thanks to our music. I was the lead vocalist and I believe that singing and dancing on stage is the most incredible thing anyone can feel!

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm currently working on my own music as an artist, teaching vocal lessons, and recording demos for independent and major labels.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Macau is an excellent producer, songwriter and an incredible person. If you want innovation and quality, he is the one you need!

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: It depends on what you want to accomplish. Each one has it's own charm and I feel that with the correct use, they can be use separately or together. The analog realm has a more human touch that can connect with the performer, but it can work really well with crazy and unimaginable digital sounds. Just like a medieval princess shooting lasers! ?? Haha.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I promise to deliver the best result as fast as possible.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: That it is an opportunity to do what I love and to be able to give a part of me to others through my voice.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Would you like to be a featured artist on the song? - Usually not, since I want to separate my artist work from my SoundBetter work. Can you deliver before the usual 3-6 day turnaround time? - I do know how to work on a tight deadline and will usually say yes to urgent delivery, for an extra cost (depending on the amount of work).

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Heavy metal (lyrical singing), Indie Pop, Soft Pop, and Dark Pop.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: The first step is to understand exactly what my client needs. By asking what style they're looking for, what type of performance would they like and what type of arrangement they need, I assure that we're on the same page. I won't start to work unless my vision is my clients' vision. The typical turnaround time would be 3-6 days after funding, where I would be recording and editing the best vocal tracks possible. After turning the first version in, I would normally give my client around 2-3 free revisions, depending on the amount of work and service I'm offering. In any case, I'm flexible with this as I always make sure my clients love the end result!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That I don't settle easily, since I always want to deliver my best work, even if it exceeds my previously established work-time. However, I will always deliver on time and make sure not to surpass the deadline agreed.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been in music academies since I was 8 until I graduated from school. Since then, I started to formally study music, focusing on singing. I had a rock band where we performed on many venues and recorded songs on our own studio. I graduated from my university a year ago and also completed a diploma concentrating on Music Business. I met my producer 3 years ago and with him I've worked on demo's for major and independent artists as well as my own music as an artist, which I can't wait to put out!

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell (her brother), since I believe they have incredible ideas when writing and producing their music. I would also learn a lot from Billie's vocals.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: To be as clear as possible with their needs and requirements and to not be scared to give feedback, since we will be working together to obtain the best result possible.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: All of my work will be delivered in the highest quality possible. I will also bring freshness, sweetness and a charming feminine touch to your music!

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My producer and I share a space where he has an incredible studio set up: great vocal mics and an even better sounding recording space. I love going in the studio, since you feel at home and ultimately leads to much better takes.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Dark with a touch of sweetness.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Getting the best take could be the first or the last one. It's very important to have options when producing vocals, since there is no such thing as a "perfect take". It is usually done by compiling (hence comping) the best parts of various takes!

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My head voice is my greatest asset. Soft, delicate vocals are my strongest skills as well as giving a clean and clear recording.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Amy Lee and Billie Eilish. Amy I've loved from the start and have taken a lot of inspiration from her. Billie however, has been a recent discovery that I fell in love with. I find it fascinating how innovative her music and her voice is!

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Most of my clients need demo work, where I record my vocals over an instrumental they send. Other types of work include receiving various vocal takes and my client would ask me to not only comp and tune, but to also add harmonies and background vocals to their song.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What feeling do you want to evoque in your song? What is the style of the song? What type of voice do you need? What elements and services do you require for the song?

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A magic lamp (that works haha), a guitar, a knife, a book, and a compass. All of these last ones are just in case the magic lamp doesn't work!
