I'm a UK-based producer and mixing engineer with over 2.5 million streams of my productions. I hold a BA (UNMB), Master's (Oxford) and, PhD (Surrey) in music, am a multi-instrumentalist, and specialize in pop, electronic, indie, and rock.
I'm a one-stop shop solution for all of those voice notes on your phone that are just begging to be made into full songs.
► Production - If those voice notes lead to a finished song that now needs producing in order to be fully realized, I will develop the idea it into a Spotify-ready track. I'll take your sketch, be it in the form of a voice recording of you humming the song, vocal & guitar/piano arrangement, or general demo, and add the necessary production layers to make the song fit your vision and style. (All of my productions include mixing and mastering, but I also provide stems and multitracks - upon request - for external mixing & mastering.)
► Mixing - If those voice notes have already led to a production that's just not hitting hard enough or lacks that final layer of polish, I can take the stems or multitracks and provide a clean, deep, and wide mix that will make your song fit perfectly on any Spotify-playlist.
► Mastering - If all of the above processes are done but you just need that extra power, sheen, low end boom, and volume, then I can take your mix and master it so it competes on the market, finding a place next to any contemporary song.

Interview with Andrei Sora
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to their past work, have a long chat before committing to a project, and make sure they're the right fit for your creative vision.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My 20 year journey hasn't been the most straightforward, constantly bouncing between being a music-maker and music scholar. I hold a BA from UNMB, a master's degree from the University of Oxford, and a PhD from the University of Surrey, all in music. However, this academic process reinforced my view that 'writing about music is like dancing about architecture', and with this realization came the freedom to DO music full on rather than philosophize about it.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Visceral, alternating between vulnerable sparseness and intense wall-of-sound sections.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, synth pop, electro pop, alternative pop, and, occasionally, rock and metal.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Knowing how everything fits melodically and harmonically, and using that knowledge to enhance the emotional weight of the lyrics.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my expertise as a producer, engineer, and instrumentalist. I've been making music for over 25 years and have created songs in a slew of styles, from candy pop to heavy metal. In addition, I also hold multiple music degrees (PhD at Surrey, Mst at Oxford, and BA at UNMB), which give me an edge.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ian Kirkpatrick and FINNEAS as producers, Jaycen Joshua and Serban Ghenea as pop mixers. I also find inspiration in the work of rock mixers such as Chris Lord-Alge, Andy Wallace, and Andrew Scheps.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I'll go all in, regardless of scope, and make music that both the artist and myself can be proud of.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you record guitars? My answer is always yes, as I've been playing guitar for 25+ years. I also record real guitars through real amps and pedals.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making music with other people.
