Mariano Méndez on SoundBetter

Mixing and mastering engineer, music producer & sound designer, 15+ years of experience in music making, I'm always in the search for sound landscapes and textures, adding a sensitive touch to the technical process.

I am a music producer, sound designer, mixing and mastering engineer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
For more than ten years I have been working with jazz bands, rock groups, folk singers, pop stars and electronic music projects.

I co-founded and directed Puerto Music, a creative audio content studio that focused on the development of musical ideas for audiovisual projects. We made bespoke music and sound design for film, advertising and motion graphics for Nike, ONU, Hulu and MTV, teaming up with multi-award-winning animation studio Rudo Company.

Being a musician and a music producer gives me a wider range of resources to explore the dynamics of studio sessions and the clients, artists and staff involved in each process. Work is always developed with a unique and distinctive approach for every piece.

Mariano is a very talented mixing engineer. He was able to immediately grasp the spirit of the song and made the sound perfect. He executed our directions flawlessly and we hope to be able to work with him on another song soon. Highly recommended.
