With every acoustic instrument you can think of available in my studio, I craft organic indie, folk, and pop productions that bring your song to life. Having worked with many artists in Amsterdam and London and being an artist myself, I understand how important it is for a production to get the love it deserves.

Hi there! I’m Melle, an indie/folk/pop producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer. I can do full productions or just record separate instruments to give your existing production a lift and make it feel organic.

My studio is filled to the brim with a crazy collection of acoustic instruments like cimbalom, duclimer, cello, Japanese harp, theremin, acoustic guitars and ukuleles of all sorts and sizes, a beautiful upright piano and of course my signature 'cigar box'.
I try to bring songs to life in a very unique way using many of these unusual instruments and glueing them together in an authentic, detailled and lush sounding production. I specialise in acoustic guitar strum layers for pop songs or fingerpicked, nostalgic, Sufjan Stevens like sounds.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with lots of talented artists around Amsterdam and London like Néomí, Philine, Merrick Winter, Bodine Monet, Charlot, Liza Lo, Savine, Maryn Charlie. I also produce for my own artist project 'Melle' with 80.000+ monthly listeners and play live all over The Netherlands.
I'm Conservatory schooled, but I try to let go of all rules and just follow my instinct and feeling when producing a song, since that's the only thing that really matters.
