Father, recording engineer, drummer, record label owner, and synth enthusiast are the proverbial hats that Chris wears with the greatest of comfort. Having engineered and/or mixed albums for the bands And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, The Society of Rockets, STEREO IS A LIE and many others in the indie world is just a part of his growing repertoire. Chris has had the honor of sitting behind the drumset for Scrabbel, We Is Shore Dedicated, IV Thieves, Honey Thief, Mentallo and the Fixer and a few more as a permanent or guest musician. Chris also helped establish and is a co-owner of San Francisco’s Three Ring Records, awarded “Best Local Record Label,” by the readers of the San Francisco Bay Guardian in 2007. Chris' work has been reviewed favorably by Pitchfork, NME, and more.

It was very pleasant to work with Chris. He completed my project in less than a week. I hired him as a mastering engineer, and he really brought the songs out, while reducing the muddiness when I listen to the previous ones compared with the ones he engineered.
