Sultry soulful Singer Songwriter who loves nothing more than to be creative in the studio. Busy with her own work while also working with other singers, producers and songwriters around the world, Samita is highly proactive in the music and modelling industry.

With over 10k followers on Spotify alone, Samita is a sultry sweet and fun personality that delivers a smooth soulful melody to every song. An Oxford-based singer and songwriter who has been heard on songs around the world. Developed by Djinn Music with over two albums worth of material, Samita is out to release some serious eyebrow-raising work. Her first release with Djinn titled 'This Love' was featured as the track of the week on Radio Oxford. This song was played on the hour every hour for a week and received amazing reception with her fans.
She has featured on many other releases which include 'Ockard Ridim' and 'Snake Charmer Riddim' of which have been played out on international radio and club scene. Other features are to be released of recordings already taken place. Watch this space.

  1. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  2. A: Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, Djinn, Chris Brown, Rihanna, SWV, Aaliyah.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: My latest single Rush. When you see the video you will see how it came together. From a picture in my mind to a reality and it's amazing! We put so much hard work into it.

  6. A: I have just released a new single with the Music Video entitled RUSH which is now available on the Website and YouTube, I am also working on new releases coming December 2019 and January 2020

  10. A: Digital because of extended options but analogue because of warmth in sound .

  22. A: Be clear of what you are looking for, this will save time and money. If you are unsure then work on getting clarity first. With clarity 50% of the job is already done.

  26. A: Since I was 5 years old. I been around musicians my whole life so you could say I was born into it.

  28. A: Sultry, Warm, Sexy, Smooth and Loving.

  30. A: Rihanna because she is perfect!

  31. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  32. A: Fully play the role of the character in the song while singing. Embrace the feeling and let the melody capture that feeling while making sure the mic placement is perfect for the engineer to make shine when mixing the song.

  33. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  34. A: R&B, Trap and vocals for Hip Hop choruses.

  35. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  36. A: Writing melodies and doing harmonies.

  37. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  38. A: Originally, Perspective, Advice (If needed) Feel good energy and loads of additional input!

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: The client gets in touch providing as much clear detail as possible about the project, If clarity is needed I will help with that too. Once the project starts I am in constant contact with the client providing material which can be used for promotional use as well. once the project gets direction a sample is sent for confirmation and so then built upon. Then another review and once the client is happy, We move on to other projects.

  41. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  42. A: Full in house studio with Logic Pro, Reason X and many more useful collections of software of which hardware includes Adam A7X, 43' Samsung HD Screen with a side BENQ 23'. Fireface UCX with multiple mics including the Neumann TLM 103.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Recording vocals and adding my own input in regards to lyrics and melodies where welcomed. This also includes harmonies, adbils and other BV's

Terms Of Service

Usually with three revisions per project depending on time. Each project is unique and so treated in a unique way according to requirements of the project. usually from 24 hours to no more than a week
