Sultry soulful Singer Songwriter who loves nothing more than to be creative in the studio. Busy with her own work while also working with other singers, producers and songwriters around the world, Samita is highly proactive in the music and modelling industry.
I've been a touring musician for over 10 years with bands such as Enforcer, VOJD, Robert Pehrssons Humbucker, but nowadays I spend most of my time in my studio as a songwriter and session musician. I have recorded around 15 full-length albums as a guitarist and/or vocalist.
Soulful & funky, crisp & clear, masterful harmonic and rhythmic complexity and sweet sounding simplicity. I have been working at the forefront of NYC's Jazz and Latin music scenes, performing & recording with some of the top musicians in the world including Orquesta Akokán (nominated for a grammy in 2019) & reggae legend Burning Spear.
