Dan is a busy studio and West End musician from London UK. He has recorded in top studios including Abbey Road and currently plays for Hamilton, The Book Of Mormon, Wicked, Moulin Rouge and Abba Voyage in London as well as gigging with a number of artists. Now offering high quality electric and double bass tracks with a 24 hour turnaround.
Hi there, my name is Dan, a pro bass player from London, UK. I play for several West End shows including Hamilton, Wicked, MJ, The Book of Mormon, Moulin Rouge. I also play for the Abba Voyage Show at the Abba Arena. Besides that I tour the UK and internationally with artists and bands in many genres including pop, rock, soul, country, funk and jazz. Credits include Rob Brydon (UK Tour), Twinnie & Kezia Gill.
I feel very strongly that groove, feel and placement are the most important aspects of a bass track, something a computer struggles to recreate. I offer a quick turnaround on tracks recorded at my home studio with discounts for multiple tracks or full albums. I work with you to compose the perfect bass line or sight read a precise part that you have written.
I own some of the most recorded basses in pop history including a vintage Fender 1963 Precision Bass and a 1969 Jazz bass plus a Musicman Stingray and Hofner Beatle Bass along with modern Sadowsky 5-Strings and Fretless as well as an old c1880 German Double Bass. Coupling these with fingerstyle, slap or pick techniques means I can create the exact sound you have in your head.
Please do get in touch to chat more about your particular requirements.
Thanks
Dan

Another fantastic experience with Dan. He wrote a brand new bassline to an existing track of mine, and the results were outstanding. Definitely one to worth with!

Dan did a great job. Very helpful with revisions adding professional touches. D.I and Cab option too. Thoroughly recommend.
Thanks again! Dan has recorded for a few of my projects and has never failed to get the feel absolutely perfect with impressive technique, and I've never required a revision from him. His suggested basslines always improve on my original ideas. His range of equipment is impressive, and he's used it all to deliver the colours and sounds I want for a variety of tracks. Cannot recommend him enough.
