From the age of 16 I worked as an intern in London’s top recording studios learning my trade from some of the UK's best Sound Engineers and Producers.

At 17 I landed a job with world famous music producer ‘Jazzie B’ of the internationally acclaimed sound system ‘Soul II Soul’.

Whilst working for Jazzie as his head Engineer at Soul II Soul's London Studio's I engineered sessions for some of the world’s biggest producers and the UK’s most successful recording artists, including, Ronan Keating, Faithless, Texas, Geri Halliwell (The Spice Girls) & many more.

I have an extensive production background including a recent ARIA Number 1 single and collaboration with DJ legend Carl Cox which topped the Beatport techno charts for no less than 10 weeks

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Recording & mixing engineer on the legendary UK Garage album 'Wookie' by 'Wookie'. The lead single "Battle' reached number 7 in the UK charts.

  4. A: Too many projects to list!

  8. A: A mix of both is ideal.

  16. A: That world class mixing studios don't matter anymore.

  20. A: Make sure you find a person you enjoy working with that can deliver.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A laptop, keyboard, my Genelec monitors a good quality mic pre & a Neumann U87

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

I was landed a job engineering for music producer ‘Jazzie B’ of ‘Soul II Soul’. Whilst working for Jazzie at Soul II Soul London, I engineered sessions for some of the world’s most successful producers & song writers and some of the UK’s most successful recording artists. I have an extensive production catalogue and have recently achieved two number 1 positions on the ARIA Club Charts.

  28. A: David Guetta - his productions are some of the most successful in electronic music over the past decade.

  34. A: Understanding & implementing my client's direction & requests

  38. A: I like to connect with my client to establish a timeline, discuss their vision for the project and take a listen to any reference tracks they have in mind. Once these points have been established I mix & deliver.

  40. A: I work out of a world class mix room with full Genelec main m& nearfield monitors, running a Protools HD system fully loaded with Wave & Slate Audio plugins
