Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That we will not be finished until they are completely satisfied with the project, and they are confident in their new record and it’s sound quality.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Normally they have a song in mind they want it to sound similar to, and that is the best point of reference to get it how they want it to sound. We work closely together to achieve that.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Probably that it is less work than the production or recording process. Working at a quick pace doesn’t mean it’s easy work!

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is an example of a song you like that reminds you of your style? And do you like any specific effects? I get their predetermined image of what the song sounds like in their head and how they wish they could get it to sound, and hone in on that and bring it to life.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Self-mixing is a pitfall many artists fall into, as they may be able to make a great song, but don’t understand the fundamentals of mixing a record. My advice would be to trust a professional that knows what they’re doing!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have years of experience working in a professional recording studio as a mixing engineer, and have learned from some of the best in the area.

A: Modern, Clean, Hard-Hitting, Crisp

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Hip-Hop/R&B is my main working genre, but I work on pop/electronic songs as well.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Vocal mixing is my forte, and I am typically noted for the clean, modern, on trend sound of my mixes.

A: Great customer service, affordable prices, quick turnaround, and of course, excellent sound quality

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I start with the client to ensure I understand their goals for the song/project. After the groundwork is laid, I first focus on the vocal clarity and quality. Once the vocals sound right, I make sure the bass is hitting correctly, and then build the rest of the mix around it. I correspond with the clients after to make sure they are completely satisfied and often do revisions to make sure their full artistic vision is realized.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I mix in a professional, acoustically treated studio with a triple monitoring setup, including the classic Yamaha NS-10 speakers that you can find in many a world class studio today.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mix Hip-Hop songs of varying styles, and am experienced in the different nuances of the sound. I also work in the R&B and Pop spheres as well.
