Interview with NFNITI Music
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We prefer working on EDM tracks, they normally have the most need for a dynamic stereo field mix. However, all genres need a good mix.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will get your piece sounding professional, rich, and dynamic no matter how long it takes.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Seth Drake, Bassnectar, Deadmau5, mostly edm professionals as that genre really pushes the limits on sound design & quality.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Our strongest skill is probably being a bit of a perfectionist. We want everything to sound as professional as possible.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: We've got a full year of content, as artists (NFNITI), planned for release with our record label, Eclipsed Records LLC. We do everything in house, mixing, mastering, photo shoots, remixes, collaborations, shows and everything else that goes on behind the scenes.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love music, it's been my passion since I was a kid and now I do it for a living.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People usually think nothing much goes into making a piece sound dynamic and professional, but normally a piece has gone through countless hours of editing to be finished.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: After I graduated college, I was working as an executive salesman, I flew around the world doing business deals. However, my heart was not in it, and I picked up music production as a skill set. I put in about 12 hours a day for about 5 years before I decided to become a professional.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Adding effects like chorus, or a flanger can help you control where the sound is in your mix.
